ANNA WINTOUR - THE ACF LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Celebrated as the 'ultimate editor' Anna Wintour (OBE) has been at the helm of Vogue magazine, also known as the world's 'fashion Bible', since 1988. She is also Artistic Director for the publishing giant Conde Nast, Vogue's publisher, Anna is considered to be one of the most enduring and influential fashion editors in the world and is widely praised for her eye in anticipating upcoming trends and supporting talented young designers.
It was at the Met Ball, organised and conceptualised by Anna Wintour into one of the world’s most important fundraisers and red-carpet events in art and fashion, that Rihanna wore the gown of one of the Asian Couture Federation's most prominent designers, Guo Pei. There is no greater honour for the Asian Couture Federation and it's Founding President, Dr Frank Cintamani to present The ACF Lifetime Achievement Award for Fashion Journalism & Extraordinary Contributions to the Fashion Industry to such a luminary and iconic editor of our era.
