Our title says all; famed fashion designer + renowned skincare brand = one exclusive fashion show

One’s a celebrated Indonesian fashion designer, the other a world-famous skincare brand; place them together and one would expect nothing less than a powerful partnership with amazing results. The result, in this case, is the exclusive invitation-only SK-II Crystal Clear Beauty Fashion Show, where a special Sebastian Gunawan SK-II collection was unveiled. Held at the Dharmawangsa Hotel, the unique event was also presented by Harper’s BAZAAR Indonesia, and attended by numerous local Indonesian celebrities, designers and socialites, SK-II Indonesia’s newest brand ambassador, Dominique Diyose, as well as famous model (and daughter-in-law of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono), Annisa Pohan. The collaborative collection – inspired by the imagery of crystal clear skin – boasted luxurious fabrics in a light-hued palette. Pearly beads, translucent embellishments, lace detailing – these were some of the key details decorating the knee-length dresses and floor-sweeping gowns, and the few that contributed to creating a runway assemblage that is at once delicate, feminine, glamorous and opulent.
