The Asian Couture Federation inducts Australian designer Alvin Fernandez as an ‘Invited Member’.

Following his exceptional showcase at the opening night of the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival, Alvin Fernandez of Ae’lkemi, has been inducted as an ‘Invited Member’ of the Asian Couture Federation (ACF), which is a title given to designers who have established themselves in the fashion industry and have attained significant commercial success over the years. Alvin’s achievements have been significant, having won on numerous occasions highly coveted accolades such as, ‘WA Designer of the Year’ and ‘Most Innovative Designer’. Further to that, Alvin has also dressed many Australian celebrities and socialites, and not surprisingly, his couture pieces are a common sight on almost every red carpet in Australia.

“My induction into the Asian Couture Federation opens many doors and new opportunities for my label and I am very honoured to be receiving this recognition from the federation. I am very much looking forward to working with them to take Ae’lkemi to the next level internationally,” remarked Ae’lkemi when asked about his thoughts on being inducted into the ACF.
