COUTURíSSIMO showcases new collection during star studded Asian Couture Federation Gala

This evening, ground-breaking fashion platform COUTURíSSIMO previewed an inspiring new collection designed exclusively for the label by internationally acclaimed designer Michael Cinco. Having dressed the likes of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé, Cinco’s runway show and collection for COUTURíSSIMO displayed his signature couture style and was one of many highlights of the 2016 Asian Couture Federation (ACF) Gala Dinner.

This year marked the first time that the ACF held the annual dinner in London, choosing London Symphony Orchestra St Luke’s as the backdrop for the festivities. Co-hosted by the Asian Couture Federation and CEO of the British Fashion Council, Ms. Caroline Rush, the gala and the COUTURíSSIMO show were attended by local and global identities including guests of honor Jean Paul Gaultier and Kenzo Takada, fashion influencer Bryanboy, The Saturday’s band member Mollie King, TV presenter and model Laura Whitmore, actress Morgane Polanski and one of Forbes’ ’30 under 30’ Marissa Montgomery.

Entertainment was provided by London Contemporary Voices, who spread Christmas cheer throughout the venue with classic carols while London Ballerinas performed two segments of the Nutcracker ballet. After a meal of festive turkey wellington, Whinnie Williams surprised guests with a soulful performance which brought a celebratory close to the night’s proceedings.
