COUTURíSSIMO Fashion Show at Paris Couture Week 2016<br/>
In tune with COUTURiSSIMO’s goal to provide a global access to beautifully crafted, couture-infused collections the fashion show, curated by the-artistic duo behind Parisian brand, On Aura Tout Vu, grouped the cream of Asian Couture Federation elite designers.Beyond their role as custodians of the COUTURiSSIMO brand, On Aura Tout Vu creative directors also showcased their designs alongside Sebastian Gunawan and Michael Cinco in front of 300 international guests at the Jardin des Tulleries in Paris.
The backstage atmosphere was as electrifying as the show itself seeing a flurry of activities from some of the best ‘helping-hands’ in the fashion industry. Both hair and make-up was provided by ACF’s trusted ‘couture-coiffures’ the Neville Salon from London run by the ELSL Management. The ACF’s Couturier Extraordinaire, Sebastian Gunawan’s COUTURiSSIMO showcase also re-affirmed a collaboration with another ACF elite member, the jewellery designer Rinaldy A. Yunardi .The behind the scene picture was complete with the presence of the key figures from the Asian Couture Federation, the president, Dr Frank Cintamani and the vice-president, Ms Emily Hwang demonstrating their hands-on approach and effervescent enthusiasm for the occasion.
In Paris ACF designers first showed their ‘traditional’ couture collections that were then followed by those created exclusively for the COUTURiSSIMO. That included the matador-inspired outfit worn by Madonna on her recent “Rebel Heart created by On Aura Tout Vu and Michael Cinco’s out-of-this-world couture dresses that were famously worn by a number of world’s most celebrated women. Still, what draw the biggest applause was the presence of Winnie Harlow, the 21-year old Canadian model, whose skin-condition actually beautifully accentuated Cinco’s COUTURiSSIMO dress. Even the casting of the models for the Paris show exemplified that innovative fashion platform COUTURiSSIMO does business with a difference.
